School life.

The children were taught a typical school lesson; the classroom was split into two with boys and girls sitting in different areas. They went through the daily hygiene test, finger nails were check for dirt and a routine inspection of clothing took place. Next the children had the difficult task of chanting times tables and reading the alphabet.

The final part of the lesson saw the children writing using ink and feathers, they had to make sure they got all their curls in the correct places for each letter.

The children also learnt how people from the Tudor period had fun. They played many games including skittles, hoop games, games using coins and some games that required a lot of patience.
