Pluto Class
Last week Pluto visited Walsall town centre for a look around the local town.
Playing the keyboard was fun.
Here they are going down the escalators.
The whole group are sat next to the water fountain which is near to Tesco.
Do you recognise any of the areas of Walsall that they visited?
Although the weather was a little wet it did not manage to spoil the day for the class.
They saw lots of monkeys, all playing around on their swings and toys.
They were fascinated to see the gorilla watching TV, I think he was watching Tweenies which is Plutos favourite programme. But the gorilla did not let them watch.
They even had their pictures taken with a gorilla, but luckily for them it was only a statue.
They also saw giraffes, elephants and lions which were all enjoying a nice cool day.
Pluto will be doing lots of work all about their day at the zoo.
Well done children for representing the school well, lots of people commented on how well behaved they were.
They had lots of fun role playing the story, they even made a real bridge for the goats to cross.
We had lots of children pretending to be the troll hiding in the boxes and trying to scare the three billy goats.
The children had great ideas to extend their role play, they decided to make boats to go under the bridge out of the bread crates. Although i think the teachers must have got very tired pulling the children around all afternoon.
