Heart of the Community
Croft Community Primary School is a multi cultural school in the centre of Walsall. At Croft we celebrate our different beliefs and learn to work together as a team.
Notices Daily Assembly
The assembly started with a special Easter poem which was well read from Rimza in Saturn class.
Next up saw the children in Foundation stage sing Chick Chick Chick Chick Chicken, with great acting from three of the children. We had a farmer and his two chickens and the farmer was not very happy because he hadn't had an egg since breakfast.
Two of our older children who made an excellent powerpoint presentation about Easter got to show their work to all the visiters.
After the powerpoint performance the Rev. Kirby gave his version of the Easter Story and talked about the importance of new life and new begginings at Easter time.
The assembly finished with a song from all of the school.
What an excellent assembly - we are lucky at our schoool because we celebrate all the major festivals from all the major religions.
